02.10 XOR and XNOR

The exclusive or (XOR) returns true ⇐> only one of the two variables is true, not both

It is written $\oplus$

$$x_1\oplus x_2={\bar{x}}_1{x}_2+x_1{\bar{x}}_2$$

The coincidence (XNOR) returns true ⇐> the variables are either both true or both false

It is written $\odot$

$$x_1\odot x_2={\bar{x}}_1{\bar{x}}_2+x_1{x}_2$$
